Dr. Apryl Lopez is a Family Physician focused on children’s health and whole-family wellness. She provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, supporting families through every stage and milestone of life.
Her practice centres on preventive care, children’s health and development, prenatal care, adult medicine, and chronic disease management. Dr. Lopez is passionate about partnering with families and empowering parents to make informed, confident decisions about their own health and the health of their children.
Dr. Lopez began her practice in Winnipeg in 2020 after completing her residency training at the University of Ottawa in 2019. Since then, she has come to value the continuity and relationships in family medicine. As her own family has grown, Dr. Lopez has had the privilege of watching her patients and their families grow alongside it. Supporting patients through pregnancy, parenthood, adulthood, and the later stages of life has become one of the most meaningful parts of her practice. Caring for families as a whole offers a deeper understanding of how relationships, daily life, and shared experiences influence each individual’s health. As a working mother of two, Dr. Lopez brings both professional expertise and personal insight into her practice. She provides patient-centred, high-quality, evidence-based healthcare. Her approach to whole-family wellness recognizes that the health and development of children often form the foundation of a thriving family. Dr. Lopez hopes to build a practice where patients feel supported and confident throughout every stage of life and every family milestone.
