Dr. Yahaya Maiza is a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician with a diverse international training background and a commitment to providing exceptional patient-centred care. He earned his medical degree (MBChB) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria, consistently ranked among the top institutions in the country. Dr. Maiza further honed his expertise through four years of clinical practice in Saudi Arabia, gaining valuable experience in the Middle Eastern healthcare system. He then advanced his training in the U. K., where he attained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and developed a special interest in Urgent Care and Geriatric Medicine.
Driven by a desire to contribute to a multicultural environment, Dr. Maiza chose to continue his medical career in Canada in 2025. His extensive experience allows him to work effectively with patients from a wide variety of socio-cultural backgrounds, ensuring respectful and understanding communication. With a primary goal of delivering the best possible care to all his patients, Dr. Maiza is dedicated to building long-term, trusting relationships within the community.
