Doc Online by Medigroup gives you a convenient way to connect with a licensed Manitoba doctor through a secure virtual appointment by video or phone. Whether you live in Winnipeg, a northern community, a rural area, or somewhere in between, our goal is to make quality healthcare easier to access when you need support for a non-emergency concern.
Doc Online visits are covered with a valid Manitoba Health card.

Your virtual appointment is with a doctor licensed in Manitoba by The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
Doc Online is designed to provide safe, professional, and confidential care for many common non-emergency health concerns.
During your appointment, your doctor may provide medical advice and, when appropriate, arrange:
- Lab test requisitions
- Specialist referrals
- Follow-up instructions
- Free delivery after your appointment, where available

Whether you need virtual care or a physical examination, Doc Online makes it easy to access care that’s right for you, whether online from anywhere in Manitoba or in person at one of our clinics.
Step 1 | Create a short profile
Start by entering your basic information. The system will then let you know where you are in the queue, so you can plan your time more easily.
Step 2 | Receive a notification when you are next
When it’s time for your appointment, you will receive a text and/or email notification letting you know it’s time to join the appointment.
Step 3 | Meet your doctor by video or telephone
Join the secure video appointment and speak with a Manitoba-licensed doctor about your non-emergency health concern. If you chose a phone appointment, the physician will call you when it’s your turn.
Step 4 | Receive next steps after your visit
Following your appointment, lab test requisitions, referrals, or other next steps may be sent to you when applicable. Free delivery may also be available after your appointment.

- Severe trouble breathing
- Signs of a stroke, such as facial drooping, arm weakness, or difficulty speaking
- Severe allergic reaction
- Major injury or heavy bleeding
- Loss of consciousness
- Severe abdominal pain
- Thoughts of harming yourself or someone else
- Sudden confusion or severe weakness
